Presentation Duration: 2 Hours

Objective: Introduce participants to the fascinating world of AI, highlighting its capabilities, applications, and the impact it has on various industries and creative fields.

Course Outline

Part 1: Understanding AI – The Basics (20 Minutes)

  • Introduction to AI and Machine Learning: Brief explanation of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and how these technologies are changing the world.
  • Historical Milestones in AI: A short overview of the evolution of AI, from its inception to the present day.

Part 2: AI in Text Generation – ChatGPT (20 Minutes)

  • What is ChatGPT? Overview of ChatGPT, its functionalities, and its underlying technology.
  • Applications and Demonstrations: Showcasing how ChatGPT is used for writing assistance, customer service, education, and more.
  • Interactive Session: Participants interact with ChatGPT to understand its capabilities.

Part 3: AI in Music Creation – Suno (20 Minutes)

  • Introduction to Suno: Explaining the concept of AI in music creation, and the role of Suno.
  • How Suno Works: Briefly discuss the technology behind Suno and how it generates music.
  • Listening Session: Experience music created by Suno, illustrating different genres and styles.

Part 4: AI in Visual Arts – Midjourney (20 Minutes)

  • What is Midjourney? Introduction to AI-generated imagery and Midjourney’s place in it.
  • Creating with Midjourney: Overview of how to use Midjourney to create stunning visuals.
  • Gallery Walkthrough: Showing examples of artworks created by Midjourney, demonstrating its versatility.

Part 5: Other Interesting AI Applications (30 Minutes)

  • AI in Healthcare: Discuss AI applications in diagnosing diseases, drug discovery, and personalised medicine.
  • AI in Autonomous Vehicles: Introduction to how AI powers self-driving cars, including perception, decision-making, and navigation.
  • AI and Robotics: Exploring how AI is used in robots for manufacturing, service industries, and exploration (e.g., Mars rovers).

Part 6: Future of AI (10 Minutes)

  • The Future of AI: Speculate on the future developments in AI and how it might continue to transform our world.

Course Materials and Methodology

Interactive Demonstrations: Real-time demos of AI tools.

Prior knowledge needed:

No prior knowledge is required for this AI training. It is useful to take your laptop or tablet with you so that you can start using it immediately during training, but that is not necessarily necessary. If you are interested in the new AI developments, just join us and participate.
